The Digital Literacy Team (Primary) published the website Teacher Idea, aimed  at Primary School Educators and Students. The website is constantly updated with teaching idea ‘cards’ which can be downloaded and used with students as activity starters. Online Sessions for Parents/Guardians to be held between April – June 2020

The Institute for Education is accepting applications from parents/guardians interested in following online Parental/Guardian Sessions commencing April – June 2020. These sessions are delivered in two different formats: asynchronous (self-paced)or synchronous (live). The Institute acknowledges the crucial role parents and guardians are playing in the education of their children during this time when schools are closed. The sessions being offered will equip them with the right educational tools to be collaborative partners in the education and well-being of their children.

Collection of Books and Copybooks due to the Covid-19 Outbreak

This exercise in this particular moment should only involve the collection of material necessary for learning and not other things. There will be an individual package with books and copybooks left for you. In the meantime, you will be given a date and time when you are requested to collect books and copybooks. Continue reading

Using satellite imagery from Google Maps, the site shows the U.S. from space, with small photos of each park serving as an icon.
