Mgarr Primary School Awarded the eTwinning Schools Award

Mgarr Primary School has just been awarded the eTwinning Schools Award for 2021-2022. Schools are awarded the eTwinning Schools Label when showing evidence of being pioneers and recognised as leaders in the following areas:

  • Digital practice
  • eSafety practice
  • Innovative and creative approaches to pedagogy
  • Promoting the continuous professional development of staff
  • Promoting collaborative learning practices with staff and students

The eTwinning School Award is not only a recognition of the personal success of individual teachers but mostly an acknowledgment of the achievement of the entire eTwinning team in these schools.

St. Nicholas College Schools Awarded eTwinning Schools Label

Three schools from St. Nicholas College have been awarded the eTwinning School Label. With the eTwinning School Label, eTwinning recognises and appraises the involvement, commitment and dedication not only of individual eTwinners, but of the whole school, where teams of teachers and school leaders work together. The newly awarded schools from St. Nicholas College are Baħrija Primary School, Dingli Primary School and Rabat Primary School. Continue reading

Call for Applications – eTwinning Schools

In 2018, 1212 Schools were awarded with the eTwinning School Label and every year more schools will join this exciting, new network. In order to capture, understand and support the ways in which eTwinning Schools interpret their role (for instance by developing shared leadership, teacher collaboration, students/parents/local community involvement), the eTwinning team will conduct a qualitative monitoring activity in 2019-2020 with the aim to publish a Report. This will be done, among other things, via a survey which will investigate on the ways eTwinning Schools interact with the schools in their area and provide support, training and promotional activities.
