The Foundation for Educational Services (FES) is now offering longer hours of service in its childcare centres. Parents are now choosing their hours of service between 6am and 6pm on weekdays, from Monday to Friday. This extended service is being offered in the centres at Birgu, Birkirkara, Naxxar, Pembroke, Ħaż Żebbuġ, and Qawra.
Parents interested in using this service are encouraged to contact FES, or any of the chosen centres, or visit the service.gov hubs, for more information.

The countdown has just started and in a few weeks’ time we shall be opening our doors for
Skolasajf 2021. Preparations are in full swing across all the different departments at FES.
After months of hard work, Skolasajf, will start on July 12th till 3rd September. We are
excited to welcome the children back to Skolsajf. FES has taken all the precautionary measures once again, as directed by the Health Authorities, to provide a safe and a secure environment for the children.

The Foundation for Educational Services would like to inform all parents/guardians that the application of Skolasajf 2021 is open till 2nd May 2021. Opening of Skolasajf will be subject to the advice and recommendations of the Public Health Authorities with regards to the COVID 19 pandemic situation.
FEE – €25 (Per Child) + Extra Hours @ 80c to the hour
Due to the current situation of COVID-19, we are not accepting immediate payment. You will be notified by email when you will be able to proceed with the payment. Skolasajf for children from Year 1 and over will start on Monday 12th July 2021 Kinder 1 and Kinder 2 will start on Tuesday 13th July 202. Guided by the main theme ‘An I in every Winner’, children will be invited to spend their summer holidays on a journey to discover friendship, skills, and experiences. The service will run for eight weeks (12th July till 3rd September 2021) from Monday to Friday, with a core service from 08:30 till 12:30 hours. An extended service for working parents is also offered in selected centres, from 07:00 till 08:30 and 12:30 till 17:30 hours.
The Foundation for Educational Services operates government-subsidised Childcare Centres all over Malta, giving greater accessibility to its clients. There are currently a limited number of places available, for which parents/guardians can register for by clicking on this link:

Renewals – If your son/daughter was already using the Free State School Transport during the previous scholastic year (2019/2020) you do not need to fill in a new application for the upcoming scholastic year 2020/2021 but you should have received a personalised email from the address schooltransportapplications.mede@gov.mt with a link to renew your application. This email was sent on the email address you had given us last year in your application. Kindly check your Inbox and Spam/Junk mail folder and if you did you receive this email contact us on 2598 1888 or schooltransport@gov.mt.
