The questions addressed are related to children and schools, telework, quarantine and leave. Annual Examinations and End of Primary Benchmark 2019/20

Following the announcement that all schools will remain closed for the rest of the scholastic year 2019/20, please note that:

• All state school annual examinations from year 4 till year 10 have been cancelled.

• The End of Primary Benchmark assessment in Year 6 has been cancelled.

• All students will progress to the next year for scholastic year 2020/21.

• Online teaching is to continue for all years, including the post-secondary level, according to the guidelines issued and which will continue to be issued by the Working Group appointed by the Ministry for Education and Employment. We would like to sincerely thank all schools and educators who are doing excellent work online. This is a time of uncertainty and a lot of children and young people will be feeling anxious and worried about what is going on.
