A group of budding environmentalists at St Nicholas College Secondary School Ħad-Dingli have been investigating the environmental impact of the clothing industry. As in previous years they were not happy with just highlighting the issue but have also come up with suggestions how changes in our lifestyle can reduce the negative impact on the environment of this industry. Have a look at this video and if you think you can make a difference please like and share it with your friends. So join us…let’s redesign fashion!
Young Reporters for the Environment (YRE) is an international programme (run by FEE and
represented locally by Nature Trust – FEE Malta) designed specifically for upper primary, secondary and post-secondary students. The main aim is to empower young people to take a stand on environmental issues they feel strong about and to give them a platform to articulate these issues through the media of writing, photography or video. Schools from primary, secondary and post secondary sectors are invited to participate. An information session / teacher training session will be held online on Thursday 2nd December 2021 from 10am – 11am. For those who cannot attend, the session will be recorded.
