New Covid-19 Directives as at 11.03.2020

As has been announced by the Government and the Health Authorities, learners and educators who during the past 14 days have travelled to the indicated countries affected by COVID-19, including Italy (all regions, including Sicily), they need to with immediate effect, self-quarantine at home for 14 days from the day of their return to Malta. Parents/Legal Custodians are reminded that in case that their children show symptoms of fever, cough or sore throat, they should not send their children to school.

PISA 2018 Assessment – Animation Video

The PISA National Centre within the Educational Assessment Unit is currently preparing for the upcoming PISA 2021 field trial being administered in the first two weeks of March. The field trial will involve a sample of 15-year-old students from 28 different schools namely 12 State Schools,  13 Church Schools and 3 schools coming from the Independent Sector. The field trial is held in preparation for the main study which will be administered in March 2021 with the participation of all 15-year-old students attending schools in Malta. This  follows the recent publication of the PISA 2018 results. Continue reading
