The PISA National Centre within the Educational Assessment Unit is currently preparing for the upcoming PISA 2021 field trial being administered in the first two weeks of March. The field trial will involve a sample of 15-year-old students from 28 different schools namely 12 State Schools,  13 Church Schools and 3 schools coming from the Independent Sector. The field trial is held in preparation for the main study which will be administered in March 2021 with the participation of all 15-year-old students attending schools in Malta. This  follows the recent publication of the PISA 2018 results.The Directorate for Learning and Assessment Programmes has produced a short animation video related to PISA 2018. The brief video may be used by SLTs / educators during school activities to disseminate information about the PISA study. The video can be accessed here:
