The Hunt: Kids’ Virtual Science Quest

The Science Centre (Pembroke) within the Directorate for Learning and Assessment Programmes is launching the 3rd edition of The Hunt: Kids’ Virtual Science Quest. The aim of the initiative is to engage young students in problem-solving and research competences. This STEM initiative targets primary students in Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6. The Hunt engages students in an exciting virtual science quest with clues related to scientific skills and competences.

The Hunt will take place virtually via Microsoft Teams on Friday 3rd June 2022 according to the following schedule:

A link person, preferably the classroom teacher, is kindly invited to register the class of students to participate in The Hunt: Kids’ Virtual Science Quest. The link person will receive an invitation to join the respective Microsoft Teams team entitled e.g. The Hunt Year 4. This will be used to join in the activity on Friday 3rd June 2022. Whole class interaction is highly encouraged. However, participation in the initiative is on an individual basis.

Interested participants are kindly requested to register their interest by not later than Friday 27th May 2022 by compiling the registration form through the following LINK.

The first three winners in each category will receive Science kits awards kindly sponsored by the HSBC Malta Foundation.
