To celebrate eTwinning’s 15th anniversary and to implement this year’s Annual theme: Climate Change, eTwinning Malta is participating in an initiative between Malta and Slovenia. eTwinning Malta shall be sponsoring 15 schools from kindergarten up to post-secondary for a tree-planting activity in their school between the 1 st and 31st March 2020 – marking the 15th anniversary of eTwinning. Similar tree-planting activities shall be taking place in Slovenia.
How to participate
Interested schools are asked to fill in the following form: https://bit.ly/2vaDVIw. Deadline to apply is end of February 2020. The first 15 schools to apply will be sponsored a tree by eTwinning Malta. Upon acceptance of application schools will then be asked to send photos or short videos together with a short description of the activity and any messages to safeguard our planet by the end of March 2020. These will be shared with schools in Slovenia via the eTwinning Live Group “Our eTwinning Tree Malta and Slovenia” and uploaded on our website: http://www.etwinningmalta.net and social media. All participating schools will receive a certificate.
Partner Finding Fair
We will also be organising together with Slovenia NSS, an online Partner Finding Fair between the two countries. Educators may attend both as speakers (presenting their project ideas) or solely as participants willing to join a project.
When? This event will take place on the 11th March 2020 at 18.00hrs
Who? Any educator registered in eTwinning and willing to join or create a project related to environmental issues and climate change.
