The Centre for Physical Education and Sport in collaboration with other sport entities has successfully organized a wide range of sport initiatives and events aimed at Primary School learners. These initiatives and programmes left a positive impact on the participating learners, and the Directorate for Learning and Assessment Programmes (DLAP) is planning the next scholastic year’s calendar of events.

During scholastic year 2022-2023, the DLAP is planning to provide learners a wider range of sport disciplines. In this context, stakeholders involved in sport are invited to collaborate. DLAP invites Sport Associations, Sport Entities, Sports Professionals and anyone working in the field of Sport to submit a brief proposal regarding the organization of school-based events and initiatives, SCDP related programmes, intra-college and/or national competitive and non-competitive events as well as talent-identification projects at Primary School level. These proposals should be addressed to miriam.aquilina@ilearn.edu.mt by not later than Friday 18th March 2022. All proposals will be evaluated by the Education Officer for Physical Education (Primary) and the approved proposals will then form part of the School Sports Events for Scholastic Year 2022-2023.
