Information Sessions about Accounting by the Institute of Accountants (MIA)

The Department of Accounting within the Directorate for Learning and Assessment Programmes is inviting interested students in Year 11 to participate in an information session about Accounting as an option subject which will be delivered by the Malta Institute of Accountants (MIA). The session, which will repeat itself on different days and times, will help students make an informed decision about accountancy as a career path. Studying Accounts can immensely help students by increasing their work opportunities. The #AccountsForYou information sessions will be held virtually after school hours, starting from Wednesday1st December 2021 and will be available in both Maltese and English.

Parents/guardians need to first fill in the consent form and then fill in the online registration form to book their child’s place for a FREE 45-minute Zoom call with accountancy professionals to find out more about Accounting. After registration, the Malta Institute of Accountants will contact parents/guardians with the link to the Zoom call according to the selected day and time.
